God's Cake

Sometimes we wonder,

"What did I do to deserve this?" or

" Why did God have to do this to me?"

Here is a wonderful explanation! A daughter is telling her mother how everything is going wrong, she's failing algebra, her boyfriend broke up with her and her best friend is moving away.

Meanwhile, her mother is baking a cake and asks her daughter if she would like a snack, and the daughter says, "Absolutely Mom, I love your cake."

"Here have some cooking oil," her mother offers.

"Yuck!" says her daughter.

"How about a couple of eggs?"

"Gross, MOM!"

"Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?"

"Mom, those are all yucky!"

To which the mother replies:

"Yes, all those things seem bad all by themselves. But when they are put together in the right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake!"

God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He would let us go through such bad and difficult times. But God knows that when He put these things all in His order, they always work for good! We just have to trust Him eventually, they will all make something wonderful!

Clearly God is crazy about you! He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning. Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen. He can live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance

Hall Of Faith

What can little faith do in my lives? Does faith requires any measurement? I hope not!! What is the hardest thing in lives that requires faith in a long run? Clearly only relationship in lives requires faith. And truly faith is not easy to be produced. There are many incidents in my lives that causes me to have great fear that gulfed me unconsciously when faith does not take place. A popular saying once I heard states, "Faith is walking to the edge of all the light that you have-and taking one more step." Apart from that, the book written by Joni Eaerckson tada states that in spite of diving accident that has left her paralyzed for more than thirty years, Joni has been able to build a life of faith and purpose. The peace she has found as she confronts the painful realities of life as a quandriplegic has made her a hero to many people. In discovering the midst of questioning that God Himself is the answer to all questions.

In Hebrews 11:1
"Now the faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."

Faith is such a strong word simple means being certain of something you can't see, in another word means believing something that is unseen.Isn't it easy when there is a light bulb that tells you which is the right path. Well certainly FAITH is not as simple as that.

In many relationship these days does not last was due to lack of faith, trust and beliefs.....And in the same way, it same goes apply to my relationship with God. There are couple of times where I have to lean on someone who I couldn't see which is God. The time I have to trust my dad that he will provides sufficient care and love for me, the time where I lost one of my family member and by faith that God will take care of my family, believing in Him that he will take good care of my love one who had suffered from cancer, faith in God that I will do good in SPM, trusting my love ones that they will not leave me and so on and so forth.

Clearly, it's easy to take a step forward when I only can rely on the choices I have and not knowing what lies ahead for me. But it's so usual for that fears always creeps into my mind and soul and start eating up my faith unconsciously.

"Faith is walking to the edge of all the light that you have-and taking one more step" And that's what exactly what God is calling you and me to do today. But it's not a blind leap of faith. God has given us the light we need, and the light is found in His word, the Bible. Are you ready to start a life-challenging journey?
