Beauty of a Mother

Since tomorrow I'm sharing in church of how much my mom mean to me, let me do it here first to appreciate my mom and to all mothers. Mother's day is instituted to honor mother, but this day is exploited for it's commercial benefits. Like any other special occasion we celebrate throughout the years including Valentine's Day, Father's Day or even Friendship Day, I do think that these 'special' day have become very much commercialized. Children feel guilty if they do not give their mother appropriately on this day. Mothers feel overwhelmed with the choice of their children's gift. I wish we could actually celebrate Mother's day with sentiment. While I do favor gifts and gifting, I don't really like the commoditization of relationships especially when the relationship is so sacred between a mother and a child relationship. I think that we should profess our love every single day instead of that very special day when the others 364 we don't.

Happy Mother's Day!

That is my lovely mom, who shows me all 100% love, care, and above all attention! I always see my mother as someone who has a deep understanding of what is in my mind. Whenever I have worries or request, before me speaking a word, my mom will definitely ask "Do you have anything you want to tell me?" It's as if she is the worm in stomach who know what I am in need of. She is a role model to me of how I am to become a mother in future. A Mother's love is something that no one can explain, it is made of deep devotionand of sacrifice and pain, it is endless and unselfishand enduring come what may. For nothing can destroy it or take that love away . . .It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking, and it never fails or falter seven though the heart is breaking . . .It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns, and it glows with all the beautyof the rarest, brightest gems . . .It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation, and it still remains a secretl ike the mysteries of creation . . . A many splendoured miracleman cannot understand and another wondrous evidence of God's tender guiding hand.

Instead of making a hassle to crack your brain of what to get on Mother's day, or get for the sake of mother's day, I would suggest make a simple meal instead. Besides preparing a simple meal, why not try rewarding your mom by bringing her out to a healthy meal, or buy something that is relates to the household, you can always be thoughtful to custom made a card with quotations if you do not know how to express your love in words or care for her beauty to those mom who is concern of their beauty by bringing them out for a day of facial and spa! It doesn't matter how much a present cost but how much your longing to appreciate your mom is the biggest gift of all.

Without her I wouldn't be who I am today.

Friday Evening

Oh well, I got woken up early at 4 a.m. by stomach cramp so I didn't feel quite well and decided to grab my phone and inform my friend Serene regarding my absence to work. The pain kicks in early morning till about 6 when I was too tired to stay awake. I didn't do much today except that I decided to drop by Starbucks at Wangsa Maju in Jusco to give myself a drink so I ordered Caramel Macchianto, one of my favourite one of all. =)
I'm still feeling weak and tired but it's better than staying in hostel for the day, therefore keeping myself occupied with Internet makes me feel better. Yea feeling really gloomy today, friends not around because they're all back to their various home while I'm here. Anyway, I'm waiting for my bee to arrive from work, really hope to see him soon and get a hug from him. I guess I sign off first. Tata.

At least I have my Caramel Macchianto to keep me occupied for this evening.

Meeting the Client

DIGI mini cooper right outside the lobby. When I see this, I see Tammy....I still remember the last time she took a shot at Bangsar with this red mini. Hehehehe...

Random shot.

Waterfall right behind DIGI working place

Ads in the elevator.

Really cool hangout corner, it will be cooler if only they have a glass door.

Waiting corner at the lobby

Hangout outside the working compound.

Now this is what makes their working place different from ours. Basically their working concept is open, free seats for anyone. Oh well to be precise, everyone owns a laptop here and whenever you feel like working, just grab a seat and a table. There is no table that belongs to one, that is why they call it as 'free seat'.

WIP with the client in the meeting room. FYI, WIP means work in progress, updates on both sides from the servicing (advertising side) and the client side regarding some respective jobs required from the client. Whenever there is a new job comes in, the client will brief in during WIP. I would say a good experience, it's way beyond what I expected. =) The client are really friendly.

Happiness is........

Most of us dreams and we do come across question like "If only one day a genie appear to you, and three wishes given to you, what will you ask?" Some will choose beauty, popularity perhaps, financial free or even more wishes! We just tend to be so greedy at times, and wish everything we choose leads to fulfillment of life. But above all, I guess happiness would win, hands down. many people mistakenly think that the first three choice bring happiness, but for those of us who understand happiness in the biblical sense, we understand better in a different way. We know that true happiness often spoken of in the Scripture in terms of being "blessed," is the deep inner sense that everything in life is in order, under God's control. So how can we find this kind of happiness?

The psalmist tells us that true happiness is experienced as we commit ourselves to live by God's "law" or rules (Psalm 1:2). This may come to us as surprise to come, because unfortunately a lot of us view his rules as divine handcuffs or a heavenly straitjacket. It's as though every time something seems fun and enjoyable, God says, "You can't do that." Or even something seems difficult, God says, "That's what I want you to do."

The idea that God gave his law to oppress us is Satan's oldest lie. The earliest attack of Satan on the true happiness of adam and Eve advertised that lie is a tragically successful way (Genesis 3:1-6) To counteract this untruth, the law of the Lord originates from God. He cannot deny himself. He could not possibly give us a set of rules that would be damaging, wicked, unkind, imperfect or unrighteous.

I have never met anyone who would say that his or her life has been totally devastated because of following God's Word, But I've met a lot of people whose mixed-up, unhappy lives are the result of having scorned God's directives.

When I find God's law hard to obey, that is when I became rebellious at time, but I always remember that God's commands are the key to expression of his love. For the past number of months, I enjoyed life by neglecting his laws, satisfactions and self achievements as well as friends to be with instead of keeping the relationship with Him but I do come to realized again and again that life without Him is meaningless even when I am financial free. Anyone of us will come to an edge of life questioning what am I living for, but to know the truth that whatever we live for in life, all will turn into dust at the end of the day besides God's love.

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of the sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. Psalm 1:1-2

Happiness is living within the boundary of God's Word.

Fruitful Weekend

Oh well, a fruitful weekend have just ended and Monday is kicking in now. Anyway I hope you guys out there had a wonderful weekend too. Can't wait for another weekend to arrive huh?

Oh well, went for X-Men wasn't what I expected but here is what I know from this movie. Hugh Jackman reprises the role that made him a superstar - as the fierce figthing machine who possesses amazing healing powers, retractable claws and a primal fury. Leading up to the events of X-Men, it tells the story of Wolverine's epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the Alright here is a short brief of X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a 2009 superhero film based on the fictional Marvel Comics character Wolverine. This film is directed by Gavin Hood and stars Hugh Jackman as a little character. According to research it is a prequel to the X-Men film trilogy and is primarily set roughhly ten to fifteen years before the film X-Men. This film focuses on the violent past of mutant Wolverine and his time with Team X, before the wolverine's skeleton was bonded with the indestructable metal call the adamantium. The plot also details his early encounters with Colonel William Stryker (Danny Huston), the Weapon X program and Wolverine's interactions with other mutants including his relationship with his half brother Victor (Liev Schreiber). This film was mostly shot in Australia and New Zealand.

I've been meaning to write this post to update on the project we're in now. Wonder Tammy borrowed some really cool reference creative books from the creative juice to brainstorm over the logo, theme and the concept we're getting into. Basically we dine with graphics for about 4 hour.

We started off with the coverage on how wide we would want to cover, so in conclusion we both agree on color palettes instead of sub themes perhaps seasonal. Unique names that Tammy gave birth to:

Black Parade
Blue Lagoon
brown Vintage
Gray Bliss
Luxury Gold
Tropical Green
Orange Sunset
Pink a la Mode (still pending)
Red Masquered
Purple Dusk
Silver Lining
Yellow Nightingale

Well I'm not that good with names but at least I did give birth to Gray Bliss...hehehe good attempt huh...=) We narrow it down to our target audience, if u do keep track with the other side story, we are actually focusing all on wedding for now but who knows, we probably will widen our scope of audience. Apart from that, we picked a number of logo type and designs we like. Color will be brown and pastry colors with cursive fonts and curly diamond patterns. Below are some pictures of logo we like and pastry colors.

We call it a DAY for now. =)
